The Korean brand, Samsung has been rolling out updates to its Galaxy devices since March this year. The company rolled out the all-new exclusive Android 12-based OneUI 4.1 update, the April SMR, and then the latest May security patch has started seeding in various devices. Luckily, the Galaxy Buds Pro was not left out in the rollout party as the latest Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro update improves the charging algorithm of the earbuds.
Although this Galaxy Buds Pro update didn’t come with new features, it improves the fundamental functionality of the buds and optimizes the user’s experience. The update claims to enhance the device’s security and reliability as well as improve its algorithm of stability and battery charging.
The Galaxy Buds Pro update comes with a firmware version of R190XXUOAVD1 and takes a little storage space of 2.23MB. Different from the characteristics of the storage space, the update brings quite a lot of fantastic effects mentioned earlier. The update is now available in India but we expect the package to roll out in other regions soon.
How to download the Galaxy Buds Pro update
You can navigate to your Galaxy wearable app on the connected smartphone and check for the Galaxy Buds Pro update there. Search for earbuds software updates and then download and install. Note that while updating the wearable, you have to connect both buds and you cannot use the headphones. And after the update, some settings of the headphones may have changed. Expect better stability and charging after update.
