Google will today release the May security patch bulletin to give insight on what the current patch addressed – security and privacy vulnerabilities. Samsung couldn’t wait for the release by Google and has been rolling out the May security patch to its premium phones. They delivered the update to the S22 series last week and are currently pushing the Galaxy Flip 3 and Z Fold 3 May security patch.
The Korean company is seeding the Galaxy Flip 3 and Z Fold 3 May security patch update in the US to increase security and system stability. It is currently available for the carrier-locked variants of these phones with firmware numbers F711U1TBS2CVD4 and F926U1UES1CVD4, respectively. If you are using any of these phones (SM-F711U1 and SM-F926U1), you should check for a new update via the settings app.
Meanwhile, because the rollout is OTA bound, it might take a couple of days before reaching all eligible units. Also, we expect other regions to start getting the update in the coming days, and while waiting, you can follow the procedure below to check for a new update.
