Samsung announced the Galaxy Ring in February but didn’t release the wearable until July. Interestingly, they are rolling out a new update, the first since it shipped to users.
The first Galaxy Ring update is rolling out in the US with a firmware version Q50XWWU2AXH1. It comes in a 0.64MB package, which tells what’s on the changelog—the stability of Bluetooth connection and Samsung Health improvement. We expect optimizations and bug fixes under the hood, and hopefully, your Ring will perform better after this update.
We expect the rollout to expand to other parts of the world in the coming days. Nevertheless, you can check for it, as you might have received the update already. Follow our social media platforms for more Galaxy phone updates, especially as the company plans to start rolling out One UI 7.0 soon
