The OneUI 5.1 update is getting to other Galaxy smartphones after it debuted with the new Samsung flagship, the Samsung Galaxy S23 series. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy S21 FE, and Galaxy S20 FE OneUI 5.1 update is now available.
Further details on the S20 FE OneUI 5.1 update alongside the others
The current iteration of Samsung’s software experience, S20 FE One UI 5.1(and the others), is developed on top of Android 13 and was initially released on the Galaxy S23 series. The update doesn’t introduce many new features, but there are some pleasant enhancements scattered throughout the changelog.
Samsung recently sent out the OneUI 5.1 update to many of its flagship phones, including the Galaxy S22, S21, and S20 series, as well as the Galaxy Z Fold 4, Fold 3, and Flip 3. Samsung is now maintaining its rapid deployment with more expansions. To begin, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 was absent from yesterday’s release. SammyFans obtained firmware version F721BXXU1CWAC and discovered that the upgrade is available in Germany and the Netherlands.
In the meanwhile, Samsung is rolling out the upgrade to its “Fan Edition” cell phones. According to SamMobile, both the Galaxy S20 FE OneUI 5.1 update and the Samsung S21 FE are being upgraded. The update is now available in parts of Europe with the firmware version codes G781BXXU4HWB1 and G990B2XXU1EWAJ.
It’s remarkable to see these two in particular getting upgraded so swiftly, given how long Samsung took to provide their separate Android 13 upgrades. Given the early rollout of the S20 FE OneUI 5.1 update among others, there’s a high probability that other Galaxy smartphones will be getting a taste of this software in the coming weeks.
