More Samsung phones get Circle to Search

Samsung debuted Circle to Search as part of the Galaxy AI features. It was first seen on the Galaxy S24 series before arriving for the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S22. The feature also arrived for the Galaxy S21, S21 Plus, and S21 Ultra, but surprisingly, Galaxy S21 FE users didn’t get it. It seems an error, as all S21 series phones share the same SoC. They are the same phone but with a few tweaks.

Circle to Search

With Circle to Search already available for mid-range A-series phones, you would expect the Galaxy S21 FE to receive the feature. That’s what Samsung has done with the August 2024 security patch update. Those in Vietnam are reporting the arrival of the latest security patch, which has enabled Circle to Search.

Aside from addressing over 50 security vulnerabilities ranging from high to critical, the latest patch update brings Circle to Search support for the Galaxy S21 FE users. After installing the update on your device, you can start using it to search for anything by circling it. Yes, it is enabled by default, but you can still turn it off in Settings.

Meanwhile, you need to hold the home button until Google pops up on top of the screen. Circle anything you wish to search, and the results will appear towards the bottom of your screen. Hopefully, more phones will receive the feature.
