Samsung has yet to announce the official timeline for the Android 15-based One UI 7 public beta release. The Korean tech company will probably start rolling out the update soon, given that many Galaxy phones have been seen running the upcoming Android OS.
Google reached Android 15 platform stability with the Beta 3 update, meaning developers are now testing their apps for compatibility. OEMs like Samsung are doing the same, and it seems the company has achieved a milestone with many phones running the next Android OS.
The Galaxy S24+ was spotted running Android 15 and One UI 7 on Geekbench, and a few hours later, the Galaxy S23 Ultra was seen on the same website. Unsurprisingly, the Galaxy S22 Android 15-based One UI 7 build is probably ready with the device running the next OS update on the benchmark website.
However, we are still months away before the upgrade starts rolling out for everyone. Before that, Samsung will organize beta tests, which is what will commence in the coming weeks. We expect the rollout to begin after the One UI 6.1.1 rollout.
When will Galaxy S22 Android 15-based One UI 7 start rolling out?
We are still months away from seeing the release of stable Android 15, expected to arrive in October. Galaxy phones will get the upgrade around November, but there will be public beta tests before that. You can join the beta program when it’s announced if you can’t wait for a stable release.
