Galaxy S22 One UI 6.1.1 update available in Europe and India
Samsung began rolling out the One UI 6.1.1 update early this month. The rollout started in Korea with the Galaxy S24 series before reaching the S23. After a few days, Galaxy S22 users started getting the upgrade, but only in Korea. Now, those in Europe and India can install the update.
One UI 6.1.1 has introduced some Galaxy AI features, optimized performance, and resolved issues. However, some AI features that arrived for the Galaxy S24 might be missing on your Galaxy S22 after installing the update. You’d get some cool features like Live Translation for Apps, Listening Mode for the Interpreter tool, and more.
Aside from these features, the update bumps the Android security patch level to September 2024. The latest patch has addressed over 25 security flaws ranging from high to critical, and we recommend installing the update when prompted or manually checking for it.
