Samsung has released the Galaxy S22 One UI 6.1 update in Europe. The much-anticipated upgrade has now made its way outside the company’s home country, meaning other regions could soon start getting the update. Meanwhile, it might take a few days before the day arrives on your device via OTA.
Galaxy S22 One UI 6.1 update started rolling out in South Korea last week but was halted due to a bug, which has been resolved. Samsung resumed the rollout yesterday, and now, the company is upgrading units in Europe. It’s a limited rollout to allow time for a preview before more people can get the update.
Meanwhile, the update is rolling out with version number S90xBXXU9EXE1 and brings all the expected AI features. Unfortunately, it doesn’t come with the latest security patch, meaning an update could still arrive for the device this month. Given that issue with the first rollout, we recommend backing up your data before installing the update.
