Samsung plans to open the One UI 7 beta program to more phones later today. While the Galaxy S22 is not among the phones that receive the beta build, the update might still arrive for the device. At least, a recent build on the Samsung servers suggests that.

Later today, Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy S23, and A55 will start receiving the One UI 7 beta build. Before Samsung confirmed these devices to receive a beta update, they were spotted on the servers. That’s the case with the Galaxy S22 One UI 7 beta.
We believe Samsung will release a beta update for the Galaxy S22 series. Although only one of the three phones was spotted running the update, all the models will receive the update when it starts rolling out.
When is the Galaxy S22 One UI 7 beta update happening?
It has taken until now for Samsung to open the beta preview to more phones. Perhaps the stable build is ready and the company needs just a few test releases before it starts rolling for the public. If that’s the case, we expect the Galaxy S22 One UI 7 beta to begin rolling out after today’s release.
Meanwhile, the device might wait until May before getting the stable Android 15-based One UI 7 update. Most Samsung phones will get that upgrade in May, which is not bad, considering that the Galaxy S24 has been testing the update for almost three months.
