It has been a couple of days since Samsung started rolling out the February 2024 security patch update. The Korean tech company started the rollout with the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3, and as expected, the Galaxy S23 in the US is now getting the update.
The February 2024 security patch resolved about 72 security vulnerabilities affecting Android phones. We recommend installing the update when promoted to improve your device security. Meanwhile, only the Galaxy S23 users in the US with the unlocked version can install the update now.
The Galaxy S23 February 2024 security patch update is rolling out with version number S9x8U1UES2BXAD and weighs 400MB. With the size, the update does not bring the features of One UI 6.1, as Samsung is yet to start rolling out the update to the S23 series.
Nevertheless, we recommend installing the latest update as it fortifies the device for a seamless upgrade to One UI 6.1. Unfortunately, only those in the US can install the update currently, but we expect other regions to start getting it in the coming hours.
