Samsung has released the Galaxy S23 One UI 6.1.1 update in China. It’s rolling out a few days after the Galaxy S24 series received the update in that region. As always, only limited users are getting the much-anticipated upgrade with a wider release in the coming days.
The One UI 6.1.1 is a major upgrade, and Samsung needs stability and reliability data before pushing it to more people. Nonetheless, the feedback thus far has been positive, and hence, we expect a swift rollout in Europe and other regions.
The update is seeding with a firmware version S91xBXXU6CXH7 and weighs about 2.6GB. While the changelog mentioned Galaxy AI, some features may have been left out. We witnessed that with the One UI 6.1 release, and hopefully, we learn about all the features coming to the Galaxy S23 series with the update.
It seems a new update will be released after the current rollout, as the latest release didn’t bring the September 2024 security patch. Samsung has only released the new patch in some regions, and we expect another update for the S23 in the coming days.
