Samsung is now rolling out the stable Android 14 update to more phones after the initial release of the Galaxy S23 series. The latest release is for the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 in the US.
After that release to the Galaxy A54 earlier today, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 Android 14 update is now rolling out. Like the early release, both devices receiving the update are on the Verizon network.
The update is rolling out with version number F946USQU1BWK9 for the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and F731USQU1BWK9 for the Z Flip 5. Aside from introducing all the expected features, the Android security patch has been bumped to November 2023 to increase system security
When will I receive the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 Android 14 update?
The update is currently seeding in the US for the Carrier-locked versions. We expect those in Europe to start getting the update soon before it extends to other regions. However, when the update starts seeding for unlocked models, we expect those who participated in the beta program to receive it first. Hopefully, we will see a wider rollout of the update next in the coming days.
