Samsung has started rolling out the Galaxy Z Fold 6 March 2025 security patch update. It’s a staged rollout exclusive to South Korea. However, we expect other regions to get the update soon.

Many Galaxy users expect the One UI 7 beta update for the Galaxy Z Fold 6. The rollout will probably start later but for those registered for the preview. Of course, that doesn’t stop the normal monthly patch release, as some people prefer stable builds. If you are among those, a new update is available for download.
Details of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 March 2025 security patch
The update is rolling out with version number F956NKSS2AYBD and weighs 436.81 MB. It’s a security patch build and hence doesn’t seem to bring any new features. However, it has enhanced security and resolved over 30 security vulnerabilities. These security vulnerabilities range from Higher to Critical. According to Google, CVE-2024-43093 and CVE-2024-50302 are “under limited, targeted exploitation.”
How to download the Galaxy Z Fold 6 new update
If you are waiting for the One UI 7 beta update, we advise you to avoid installing the current release. The beta build will start seeding later and will probably deliver the March security patch. And from the Galaxy S24 experience, the update is fairly stable. It can serve as a daily driver, but ensure you backup your files before installation.
Head to Settings>>Software update>>Download and install to scan for the new update. While those in More are reporting it, we believe expansion to other regions is going on.
