Finally, Samsung has released the Galaxy Z Fold 6 One UI 7 beta update. The rollout is live in multiple regions, but only those registered for the beta program will receive it. Fortunately, you can join anytime, even after reading this post, and it seems the build is fairly stable.

It’s been three months since the first One UI 7 beta update was released for the Galaxy S24 series. While the stable build is yet to start rolling out, the testing has extended to the Galaxy Z Fold 6. Perhaps it could mean the stable build will roll out sooner
Details of Galaxy Z Fold 6 One UI 7 beta update
Of course, the One UI 7 beta is based on Android 15. It means the Galaxy Z Fold is getting the latest OS for the first, albeit it’s a beta build. Unfortunately, only select countries are participating in the test. They include the US, the UK, India, and Korea. And while the upgrade will arrive in all these regions, only two have started getting the beta build.
Samsung has released the much-anticipated upgrade in the US and India. The update is rolling out with version numbers F956U1UEU2ZYBJ and F956BXXU2ZYBJ, respectively. It comes in a 5GB package and brings the March 2025 security patch alongside loads of new features.
We do not know how long the beta preview carry on for the Galaxy Z Fold 6, but it certainly will not take long. If you want to participate, you can join via the Samsung membership app, then check Settings>> Software update>>Download and install after a successful registration.
