Since the resumption of the stable One UI 7 rollout, Samsung has been swift with the rollout. It took only a few days for the upgrade to arrive in multiple countries, including the US. Surprisingly, the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6 stable One UI 7 update has only been released.

South Korea remains the first country to get a major release. They did so with stable One UI 7 and will probably do so with the upcoming One UI 8. Those in the US always receive the new update after some days, which is exactly what’s happening with the Galaxy Z Flip6 stable One UI 7. However, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 already received the update in the US but seems only carrier-unlocked variants.
The Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6 stable One UI 7 are rolling out for the carrier-unlocked models in the US. We understand Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, Comcast, Xfinity Mobile, MetroPCS, and US Cellular are all rolling out the much-anticipated upgrade. However, it might take some time to arrive for all eligible phones as OTAs are staged.

The build has a version number F956USQU1AXFD for the Fold6, while the Flip6 is getting a stable F741U1UES1AXIB build. The duo gets the April 2025 security patch as part of the release with loads of features and some AI additions. We understand there have been a few bug fixes and system optimizations, and hence, we recommend installing the update when prompted.
How to download Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip6 stable One UI 7 in the US
As usual, Samsung is rolling out the update in batches, meaning it will take time before getting to all eligible phones. Nevertheless, you can head to Settings>>Software updates>>Download and install. Follow the screen prompts to scan and install the update.
Meanwhile, if you cannot find the update, your device is not getting it yet. OTAs take days or weeks before making around all eligible phones. And given the initial issues that Samsung had to stop the rollout, they will be taking extra time before rolling out the build for everyone. We recommend checking back after your days, and hopefully, the update will be there.
