While the Google Pixel phones are on Android 13 which brings in a lot of features, some users say this update takes a toll on the battery life, although few users say otherwise. Either way, the article is showing you how to get a better battery life on Google Pixel phones.
Ways to get better battery life on Google Pixel phones
The first method you can try to get a better battery life on your Google Pixel smartphone is enabling the Adaptive Battery feature. This feature helps your smartphone know the apps you use and the ones you rarely use to avoid the latter tapping out of the battery life. A toggle for the feature is found in Settings>Adaptive Preferences.
You can also try out the battery saver to get a decent amount of battery life. This stops apps you’re not using from running in the background, enables dark mode, and turns off location services to save battery. Swipe down twice on your device and then left to access the feature.
Lastly, we have the extreme battery saver as an aggressive method to save battery life. In this mode, all apps and notifications are paused leaving out the ones you choose. The ones not selected will be greyed out on the home screen. The Big G mentions that you can get up to 48 hours of use with this feature enabled.
In the case of the Pixel 6 Pro and the regular Pixel 6 with 5003 mAh and 4614 mAh, this large amount of battery, a lot of users get annoyed they can’t get good battery life when the highlight features like the screen refresh rate, 5G and high resolution are turned on. Coupled with the slow recharging process, it is a hard time with these smartphones.
As said earlier some users still thank the Android 13 for reducing their battery drain but others still complain tremendously. Those with issues can try out the methods highlighted earlier but we hope the Big G does something to fix this issue, just like they did with the fingerprint.
