It’s been a few weeks since Xiaomi introduced HyperOS alongside the Xiaomi 14 series. The devices run the new Android skin outside-of-the box, and it’s time to start rolling it out to eligible users. Interestingly, the global HyperOS update might start rolling out before the Chinese release.
Xiaomi HyperOS update will start rolling out to Chinese users later this year, with a global rollout tipped for next year. As always, Xiaomi will release the update to the international models before the official rollout date. That has always been the case with major releases with the company always ahead of its schedule.
Of course, it will be good to see the Global HyperOS update before 2024. The update will arrive for the Xiaomi 12T in Europe and globally. According to Gsmchina, a stable build for the phone is ready to start rolling out, but only two regions will get the update. Perhaps, it will be released to beta testers, as usual, before a public release.
The update will arrive with version numbers OS1.0.2.0.ULQMIXM and OS1.0.2.0.ULQEUXM. It’s based on Android 14 and will likely deliver the latest security patch. Unfortunately, we don’t have an ETA when the update will be released, but we are optimistic to see it in the next few weeks.
When will the Global HyperOS update start rolling out?
Xiaomi is likely to release the update in November 2023. A stable build is ready to start rolling out for the Xiaomi 12T. We expect the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro to receive the update as well. However, it will be a limited rollout initially to preview bugs before releasing it to the public.
