The latest Redmi Note series from Xiaomi has already sold over 400,000 units alone. If you add the global shipments, the device should have crossed one million sales. The volume is quite impressive but would be better if not for bugs affecting the phones. Some of these bugs include overheating when using the camera app, proximity sensor issue, screen flickering, notification irregularities, touch screen issues, and more. Luckily, Xiaomi is aware of the bugs, and they are fixing them with subsequent updates. The Redmi Note 10 received an update a couple of days ago to test the screen touch issues, and now, the global MIUI 12.5 update for the Redmi Note 10 Pro has been released.
With MIUI 12.5, Xiaomi promises to fix the issues facing its Android skin. According to Redmi Note 10 Pro users in India, the update has improved the performance of the device. We expect the same for the global users currently receiving the update. However, the global MIUI 12.5 update for the Redmi Note 10 Pro is on a limited rollout. At the time of this writing, only Mi Pilots are receiving the build for preview. After a successful beta preview, the public will start receiving the update.
Nevertheless, you can install the global MIUI 12.5 update for the Redmi Note 10 Pro with an authorized Mi beta account or with r compatible TWRP Recovery installed . It’s a 732MB package with a version number – MIUI 12.5.1.0 RKFMIXM. Looking at the Changelog, some features are missing, but we expect future updates to bring them along. For now, only the changes on the picture above arrived with the latest build.
