Xiaomi has released the global POCO F2 Pro MIUI 12.5 Enhanced update. The rollout started with units in Indonesia before being extended to Europe, Turkey, and other regions. It was always a matter of time before the update become available for the global models. And going by the recent report, the update is now available for selected users for preview.
Xiaomi has been rolling out the Enhanced version of MIUI 12.5 for weeks now. They’re likely to finalize the rollout next month, in time for the MIUI 13 release. The upcoming Xiaomi Android skin has been on the news lately, and we believe that’s the reason for the swift MIUI 12.5 Enhanced rollout. That has seen the glob POCO F2 Pro MIUI 12.5 Enhanced update released, but it might take time before going round.
At the time of this writing, the rollout is exclusive to Mi Pilots. They’ll preview the ROM for a couple of days, and if there’s no performance-threatening bugs, the update will start seeding to the public. The build has a version number – MIUI 12.5.5.0 RJKMIXM – and weighs 330MB. It brings along the features of the current MIUI build – Atomized Memory, Liquid Storage, Focused Algorithm, and Smart Balance. Also, the Android security patch level has been bumped to increase system security and stability while addressing some bugs.

Few days after the global models received a new update, those in Europe are now getting the January 2022 security patch build. It comes as MIUI 12.5.5.0 RJKEUXM to increase system security and stability, while fortifying the device for a seamless transition to Android 12 with a stable MIUI 13 update. Ahead of the planned Android 12 and MIUI 13 upgrade, the POCO F2 Pro is getting a new stable update. It’s based on MIUI 12.5 Enhanced to fortify the device ahead of future upgrades. The update is seeding with a version number – MIUI 12.5.6.0 RJKMIXM, and you can download here.
