Xiaomi continues to bring Android 14-based HyperOS updates to eligible phones. The Chinese company is rolling out the much-anticipated upgrade to the Global POCO F4 units a few days after the release started in China. It’s a limited rollout to allow Mi Pilot members to preview the build, but you can install it manually.
It has been a few weeks since Redmi K40S received HyperOS in China, and as expected, the Global POCO F4 Android 14 HyperOS is rolling out. Both are the same phone but released under different moniker while the former is for China and the latter for the global market.
The Global POCO F4 Android 14 HyperOS update is rolling out with a version number OS1.0.1.0.ULMMIXM weighs 4.6 GB. It comes with all the expected features, which include a new animation language, system fonts, a redesigned weather app, a revamped control center, new home screen icons, and more.
In addition, the update has bumped the Android security patch level to March 2024 to increase system security and stability. Of course, the package includes a stable HyperOS based on Android 14. You can check for the update via the updater app or download the Recovery ROM using the link below if you have an authorized Mi Beta account.
