A handful of Xiaomi, Redmi, and POCO phones have picked up the stable MIUI 14 update in the last couple of days. These devices have mostly elapsed their Android OS support, and hence, didn’t get Android 13. As expected, the Global POCO M3 MIUI 14 update is seeding without a new Android OS upgrade.
POCO M3 debuted with Android 10 on top of MIUI 12 in 2020 and has received two Android OS upgrades. It’s currently getting its third iteration of MIUI, which might be where the journey ends in terms of a new MIUI upgrade in the future. We recommend installing the Global POCO M3 MIUI 14 update when prompted to improve performance and add new features.
The update is rolling out with a version number MIUI 14.0.2.0 SJFMIXM and weighs 711MB. It brings the March 2023 security patch to increase system security while advancing search in settings. Also, the update has introduced the Photon Engine to optimize battery performance and improve app efficiency. There’s an addition of a new Widget format and Super Icons, among other new features and optimizations.
Again, the update is exclusive to Global users, and only Mi Pilot members are getting the build. You can check the updater app or use the links below to download the ROM. Follow us on Telegram to know when the update starts rolling out for your region.
