The latest Xiaomi phone to start getting the Android 13-based MIUI 14 update is the global Redmi Note 10 Pro. It’s been weeks since the European units received the update, and it seems the preview period has ended for it to start seeding for the global models. Nevertheless, only select users will get the build, with a public release expected in the coming days.
The global Redmi Note 10 Pro MIUI 14 update is exclusive to Mi Pilot members currently. They’ll preview the build for bugs, and if there are none found, more people will start getting the upgrade, which brings Android 13 and other enhancements.
Meanwhile, the update has a version number MIUI 14.0.1.0 TKFMIXM and weighs 3.7GB. As expected, it comes with a stable MIUI based on Android 13, February 2023 security patch to increase system security while improving search in settings, which is now advanced.
Of course, there are many additions not on the changelog. They include the photon engine, new widget format, super icon, optimizations, and bug fixes. You can check the complete MIUI 14 features here.
Unfortunately, only the global users are getting the update currently, but you can follow us on Telegram to know when it starts rolling out in your region.
