To what is now Xiaomi’s tradition, when it comes rolling out updates. The company first rolls out updates to phones in its home country, China, before arriving for the global variants. With that in mind, the Chinese Redmi Note 7 has received the Android 10 update. The update arrived a couple of weeks ago and is now available globally.
The global Redmi Note 7 Android 10 update is arriving with a version number – MIUI 11.0.2.0 QFGINXM – and weighs in at 2.0GB. It also comes with the June security patch to improve system security while fixing minor bugs.

As usual, the update is first released to selected users, and from their feedback, the public rollout will start. However, you can still check for the update by heading to the Updater app, download if it’s there, or follows the link below and do it manually.

- To flash the ROM, first, download it from the link above and move it to your device’s internal memory.
- After that, navigate to Settings > About Phone> System Update.
- Click on the three dots at the top right and select the Update package.
- Locate the ROM that you downloaded and tap on it.
- The system will verify the ROM, after which the flashing process will start.
