Xiaomi has completed the initial rollout of the MIUI 13 build in China. It’s unclear when the global rollout will start, but we are optimistic the update will start seeding soon. Luckily, the Redmi Note 9 Pro will receive the update, and it becomes important to install the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced update. The update will fortify the device ahead of the planned upgrade while improving performance and stability.
As usual, the global Redmi Note 9 Pro MIUI 12.5 Enhanced is a limited rollout. The update is limited to Mi Pilots for preview, and it would last for a couple of days. We anticipate the public rollout in the coming days if there’s no bug found after the preview. However, we doubt if there would be any issues, and there haven’t been any reported recently.
The update will arrive with a version number – MIUI 12.5.3.0 RJZMIXM – and weighs 637MB. It has introduced the expected features to improve performance and promises more life between charges. Also, the Android security patch level has been pushed to December 2021 to increase system security and stability.
Unfortunately, there’s no ETA for the Redmi Note 9 Pro MIUI 13 update. However, with the update currently seeding in China, it wouldn’t be long before the global users start pushing the build. Hence, you should follow our tracker page to know when the update becomes available in your region.
