It’s no news that Xiaomi has unveiled the new flagship series, Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro. However, the smartphone just got to the Chinese market with the global launch expected later. Well, that later might be sooner as the Global Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro got certifications in other countries apart from China.
The Pro version of the Global Xiaomi 13 was spotted in the database of the Bureau of Indian Standards alongside Thai NBTC with model number 2210132G while the vanilla Global Xiaomi 13 took model number 2211133G(G is showing that it’s the Global Xiaomi 13 series).
These certifications suggest that the standard Xiaomi 13 may not be arriving in India alongside its Pro sister, at least not right away. That’s a strange tactic on the side of Xiaomi, but since this is only speculative for the moment, let’s wait for some official details before drawing any conclusions.
Features to expect from the Global Xiaomi 13 series
The Global Xiaomi 13 series should take up the features present in the version released in the Chinese market. The Xiaomi 13 has a 6.36-inch 1080×2400 120HZ OLED screen, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, 8/12GB of RAM, 128/256/512GB of storage, a triple camera system at the back (50 MP main with OIS, 12 MP ultrawide, and 10 MP 3.2x optical zoom), a 32 MP selfie camera, and a 4,500 mAh battery with 67W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging support.
Despite having a bigger 6.73-inch 1440×3200 display, a 4,820 mAh battery with 120W wired charging, and a completely different rear camera setup with a 50.3 MP main shooter with OIS, a 50 MP ultrawide with autofocus for macros, and a 50 MP 3.2x optical zoom lens, the Xiaomi 13 Pro has many of the same specifications.
