Xiaomi has started rolling out the much-anticipated Android 15-based HyperOS 2 update, but they do not seem to follow the rollout schedule. According to the release plan, the Xiaomi 14T series is supposed to receive the upgrade first, but that has not happened. Instead, Xiaomi 14, and now, the Xiaomi 13T Pro Android 15-based HyperOS 2 update has started rolling out.
The Global Xiaomi 13T Pro Android 15 update, version OS2.0.9.0VMLEUXM, is rolling out for European ROM users. It comes in a 6.3 GB package alongside all the expected features, including the October 2024 security patch. As usual, it’s a staged rollout, meaning it will take some days before everyone gets the upgrade, but you can check the updater app.
It seems Xiaomi is focusing on its device running Android 15 with the HyperOS 2 rollout. So far, only the phones that have received Android 15 with HyperOS 1 are being upgraded to HyperOS 2 (Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 13T Pro). Nevertheless, it will not be long until we see the upgrade on other eligible phones.
How to download Global Xiaomi 13T Pro Android 15-based HyperOS 2 update
The latest release is for Mi Pilot members. It is a stable beta build, meaning a few people need to preview the update before it becomes available to more individuals. We recommend waiting for feedback before installing the build, especially if you are still on Android 14. The new update would be the first cross-section byou will install, and that comes with some glitches and bugs, which can cause overheating, and consequently, battery draining faster.
Stable Xiaomi HyperOS 2 change log for global users
Unfortunately, not all the features that made it to Chinese ROM are available for global users. However, the new Alive Design Philosophy that unveils fresh and vibrant design is part of the Global release. The Xiaomi HyperCore, which enhances performance and Xiaomi HyperConnect revamps the cross-device connectivity framework as part of the upgrade. Xiaomi HyperAI and others you can see here are all available for global units.
