Yes, Global HyperOS update is now rolling out. Check details below…
It has been weeks since Xiaomi HyperOS was announced alongside the latest flagship phones. The company has released the update to a handful of phones, but it has remained exclusive to Chinese users. However, it seems the Global Xiaomi HyperOS update might have started rolling out, perhaps soon.
The global Xiaomi HyperOS update rollout is expected to start in Q1 2024, according to the official rollout plan. However, the latest report from Mi Fans Home on Telegram suggests the Global Xiaomi HyperOS update might have started rolling out.
“Dear Xiaomi fans,
Xiaomi HyperOS has started rolling out! Eligible users will receive OTA updates and can experience the new features. To check and update, please go to “Settings” > “About phone”, and then tap on “MIUI version” at the top.”
However, we have not seen anyone report receiving the update on their Xiaomi phone running Global ROM. We know the update will start rolling out to stable beta testers before the public release. Xiaomi may have started rolling out the upgrade, but to limited users and only flagship phones for now.
The official release plan for the Global Xiaomi HyperOS update remains Q1 2024. Xiaomi will start upgrading the global Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13T series before the mid-range Redmi Note 12. Also, Xiaomi Pad 6 will be among the first Global phones to upgrade to Android with HyperOS.
Global Xiaomi HyperOS update rollout plan
- Xiaomi 13 Ultra
- Xiaomi 13
- Xiaomi 13 Pro
- Xiaomi 13T Pro
- Xiaomi 13T
- Redmi Note 12
- Redmi Note 12S
- Xiaomi Pad 6
Because Xiaomi does not always follow its rollout schedule, you can check for the update if your device is among the first batch to receive it. Other devices to receive the update will be announced later, probably after the first release.
