Months after the Chinese debut, Xiaomi officially released its latest flagship phones to the Global market. However, only the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Ultra made it to the international market, while the Xiaomi 14 Pro remains Chinese exclusive. The duo debuted running Android 14 on top of HyperOS, which the company has officially announced the global release.
Of course, global Xiaomi phones have been receiving the HyperOS update. The update has been arriving for the Mi Pilots members for the most part, and we believe with the official release schedule, more people will start getting the much-anticipated upgrade.
Xiaomi HyperOS didn’t bring a UI overhaul, but a few tweaks. The latest Android skin focuses on optimizing performance, memory management, smooth animation, security, and others. There has been a redesign of the control center and weather app, while new system fonts and home screen icons were introduced. Unfortunately, some of these features are limited to the Chinese models, but substantial parts of them are available globally.
If you are waiting for the global Xiaomi HyperOS release, the company has now released an official roadmap. Not surprisingly, most phones on the list are already running HyperOS, with some already receiving a second HyperOS build. However, if you haven’t gotten the update yet, you can check the list to know when the update could start rolling out.
According to Xiaomi, the phones below will receive a global HyperOS update in H1 2024. Of course, we expect more devices to be announced soon since most phones on the list are running HyperOS. And while the Redmi Note 11 series isn’t on the list, the device is already getting the update.
