A new Google camera update is now available for download. Check details below..
It is only a few weeks since the last Google camera update was released. The tech company is rolling out a new update to introduce those features that arrived with June Feature Drop. While some are exclusive to the Pixel 7 Series, Pixel 6 and others received interesting features.
Google has been making some addition to its camera app, with the latest arriving with the latest June Feature Drop. However, to get these features, you have to download the latest Google Camera update. It has version number 8.9.097.538010547.31 and is available on the Google Play store.
With the new update, Google Pixel 7 Pro gains Macro Focus Video support for “butterflies fluttering or flowers waving in the wind,” in addition to close-up stills (as near as three centimeters away) thanks to auto-focus on the ultrawide lens.
Pixel 6 and later gains a new selfie timer feature. The new Google camera update allows you to set a selfie timer (3 or 10 seconds), which you trigger by lifting your palm to the phone. A yellow box will identify your hand before the timer starts counting, meaning you have to be within a certain distance.
Aside from the few additions, the update has improved the performance while addressing issues. It is rolling out via the Google Play store, and you can download using this link.
