Well, when the smartwatch was released, we were left in a grey area as to what the brand is planning in this wearable software. Then came a tweak on the support page that gives the information that Google confirms three years of software support for the Pixel Watch. In the exact words “from when the device first became available on the Google Store in the US ”.
Sadly, the support page didn’t say more about the frequency of these software updates but it did mention that we should expect features, enhancements, improvements, bug fixes, and OS upgrades. Meanwhile, Google Pixel 7 is to expect at least five years of software updates although we’re not sure how frequent we will receive OS upgrades on the new flagship – till the support page for Google Pixel phones is tweaked.
