Looking at the unfolding of events, Google has released July 2022 security patch to be the last security patch we will be seeing with Android 12 since Android 13 is just around the corner. Meanwhile, Google has released July 2022 security patch and this update claims to fix up to 12 security issues ranging from high to critical for the patch dated 01/07/2022 and then 22 issues of the same sort for the patch dated 05/07/2022.

Shifting our mind from the recent rollout, the Android Security and Privacy year-in-review according to Google notes that there was no critical or high-end security issue disclosed to the public that wasn’t backed up with a fix. In addition, analysis says there is an 84% year-over-year increase in security patches throughout Q4 2018.

Meanwhile, the Google devices bulletin shows an additional security fix and it equips the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro in the EMEA/APAC markets with “additional VoLTE calling features over some certain networks”.  And different from the previous rollout, it comes in 3 different builds for the Pixel 6 series with SQ3A.220705.003 as the global version.
