It has only been a few weeks since Google released its flagship Pixel phones. As usual, the company adds a mid-range to the mix, but that doesn’t debut until much later. However, it seems the A-series will be debuting soon, as the supposed Pixel 9a has been spotted.
It seems Google will use Aluminum on the Pixel 9a frame and a matte finish, just like the flagship’s siblings. However, you can tell the difference just by looking at the phone. Google has opted for a small camera bar with only two sensors. The LED light sits outside the housing with a glossy ring around it.
The front panel, as you would expect, looks exactly like the Pixel 9s, with curved edges and a flat display. Of course, the bezels are thicker, but that’s expected while there is a center cutout for the selfie camera.
Perhaps the Pixel 9a will launch with Android 15 from the box, as we expect the release by the year’s end. The device will be available in four colors, with black and silver in the mix. It will run the Tensor G4 SoC outside of the box.
