The puzzle pieces of the soon to debut Pixel 7, the next generation of Pixel phones, is coming to place as the proposed launch time frame closes in. We’ve gotten some details of the camera, the display specs have been revealed too and now some individuals saw the Google Pixel 7 listed on eBay as well as Facebook Marketplace.
“Google Pixel 7 listed on eBay and Facebook Marketplace” will come as a surprise to a lot of tech users because the device wasn’t even announced in this year’s I/O to debut anytime soon. Contrary to this fact, a screenshot of the eBay listing says the prototype is in McKinney, Texas, according to the seller’s location.
This screenshot was posted on the Reddit platform and it drew a lot of attention. Furthermore, the Pixel 7 prototype was listed in the Facebook Marketplace, however, it was termed Pixel 6, but the pictures say otherwise. This was noted by This is Tech Today Brandon Lee on Twitter.
The information of Google Pixel 7 listed on eBay and Facebook Marketplace says the seller’s location is in McKinney, Texas as said earlier on eBay and also Texas but Frisco for the seller’s location on Facebook Marketplace. While the eBay listing has disappeared, the listing is no longer available on Facebook as well.
Brandon Lee also suggests that there might be multiple units of this prototype. Where the sellers got the units from is unknown, but the pictures seen of the prototype are similar to what was previewed by the Big G. Here are pictures shown earlier on the eBay listing as provided by Mishaal Rahman on Twitter.
Google Pixel 7 listed on eBay, but we still don’t expect its debut anytime soon
Even if some tech news outlets say “Google Pixel 7 listed on eBay”, it isn’t the main smartphone but the prototype and the listings have been removed. Meanwhile, we expect the vanilla version to get a 1080×2400 display capable of running 90Hz, while the Pro counterpart gets a 1440×3120 display capable of running 120Hz. But still, some sources say till next year and others October, we’ll still keep an eye out for more rumours.
