Google Pixel 7a has been seen on the internet to hint at the imminent release

The Google Pixel 7a, the budget mid-range device from the Google Pixel 7 series has been getting a lot of rumours and it might be ending sometime in April or May. By that, we mean that the Google Pixel 7a will probably be unveiled at Google’s I/O scheduled to hold in May this year.

As said earlier, leaks will continue the surface as well as rumours. This time it’s a blurry video of the Google Pixel 7a showing the display and all but in Vietnamese. You can check out the video via the link at the end of the article. Meanwhile, what else have we got about the smartphone?

Supposed features of the Google Pixel 7a

First off, the Google Pixel 7a will be taking up a display boost compared to the Google Pixel 6a. Pixel users complained about the latter being not too fluid on the display. So it seems the complaints got to the Big G’s ears as they’ll be employing the Full HD+ 90Hz panel(from Samsung).

According to the popular tipster, Kuba Wojciechowski, the Google Pixel 7a is nicknamed the Pixel 22 Mid-range(with a codename lynx). On the camera setup, previous reports claimed that the smartphone will be taking up three camera sensors at the rear(GN1, IMX787, and IMX712) but the code says there isn’t a GN1. The code referred to the IMX787 as the wide and the IMX712 to be the ultrawide lens.

Meanwhile, for reference, the Google Pixel 6a houses an IMX363 and IMX787 so the Google Pixel 7a is an improvement (meaning better photo and video quality).  Another feature in the new mid-ranger is wireless charging although limited to 5W(also absent in the Google Pixel 6a).

A feature that remains in the air is the headphone jack. It was present in the Pixel 5a, but absent in the 6a, so we don’t know whether Google might decide to bring it back. Nevertheless, once more leaks surface online, we’ll keep you posted.
