Excitement is building as we approach Google’s much-anticipated gadget launch event on October 4th. The spotlight is firmly on the upcoming Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, with fresh leaks shedding light on their pricing and exciting new features. Let’s dive into the latest insights and what to expect from these cutting-edge devices.

Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro

The Google Pixel 8 is making headlines, not just for its anticipated features but also for its pricing strategy. According to insider sources, the Pixel 8 will be priced higher than its predecessor, the Pixel 7, in Europe. The 128GB variant of the Pixel 8 is expected to retail at €710.77 (€874.25 with VAT), marking a substantial increase from the Pixel 7, which started at €649. Similarly, the 128GB Pixel 8 Pro is projected to cost €1,004.65 (€1,235.72 with VAT), up from €899. This shift in pricing might indicate Google’s desire to align its flagship offerings with other premium smartphones.

Interestingly, the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro will maintain the same storage variants as their predecessors, available in 128GB and 256GB options. Color choices for the standard model include Hazel, Obsidian, Rose, and Mint, while the Pro model offers Bay, Obsidian, Porcelain, and Mint.

Other than the Google Pixel 8 price

One of the most exciting revelations is the enhanced battery life and rapid charging capabilities of the Pixel 8 series. The Pixel 8 is set to feature 24W charging, while the Pixel 8 Pro will take it a step further with a 27W charging rate. These improvements ensure that users can quickly recharge their devices, catering to their on-the-go lifestyles. Additionally, both devices will come with larger batteries compared to their predecessors, promising extended usage times.

In terms of connectivity, Wi-Fi 7 compatibility and continuous Ultra-Wideband (UWB) support are expected to be key features. These innovations will solidify the Pixel 8 series as cutting-edge devices at the forefront of technology, promising seamless integration into our daily lives.

As the countdown to October 4th continues, the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro promise a future filled with innovation and exceptional performance. Stay tuned for the official unveiling of these exciting devices, which are sure to redefine the smartphone landscape.
