The Google Pixel Fold has been getting a lot of leaks since it was hinted to debut this year. A new leak says that the foldable is expected sometime in June – information that’s supposed to be released in the Google I/O 2023.
Details on the Google Pixel Fold launch date
According to Jon Prosser, the Google Pixel Fold will be introduced at Google I/O on May 10. That’s consistent with what we’ve been hearing for months, but Prosser also claims that pre-orders for the Pixel Fold will be available on the Google Store on the same day. Pre-orders through carriers and other shops, on the other hand, would be delayed until later in the month, not beginning until May 30.
Jon Prosser moves further to mention that after the supposed Google Pixel Fold launch date, shipping won’t start until June 27. This is after we might have seen the Google Pixel 7a as well. This information, however, isn’t in line with one of the retail leaks we’ve seen around previously. Although the shipping date looks a little later than usual, the Google Pixel 6a never saw the market until two months after the Google I/O 2022.
Lastly, on pricing, Jon Prosser says that the Google Pixel Fold will cost about $1799. Meanwhile, another rumor has mentioned that the price might be better $1300 and $1500. Well, the debut date seems to be coming close, let’s see how it will all play out – I mean the Google Pixel Fold launch date will be ushering the first Google foldable to the tech world.
