Well, what’s a feature drop without new features?. The Google Pixel June 2022 feature drop, which is the eleventh feature drop, is now available on the Pixel 4 to Pixel 6 pro. Combining the feature drop and the enhancements in the Android 12 QPR3 is high user experience optimization.
Some tweaks included in the Google Pixel June 2022 feature drop
Adding to the already gotten feature from the last three-month feature drop, the Google Pixel June 2022 feature drop brings in the following tweaks:
At a Glance tweaks
Three additional tweaks were added to the lock and home screen of the Pixel series.
Flashlight reminder: When the flashlight is on, the At a Glance shows a button that enables users to switch it off without having them go through the Quick Settings which saves time. This tweak comes in handy for Pixel users who unwittingly leave their flashlights on in public places.
Air Quality alerts: This is what is seen on Nest Hub as well as Google search. AQI warnings will be made for the user’s current location, however, this feature was listed as “coming soon”
Nest Doorbell video feed: this is an important feature coming to At a Glance, courtesy of this Google Pixel June 2022 feature drop. It’s giving users the ability to view a “miniature camera Livestream” from your lock screen official when rung. To enjoy this feature, a Nest doorbell, which is sold separately, is required alongside a Google Home or Nest app. A “Doorbell” will be seen on the At a Glance Settings.
A Pocket Operator for the Pixel app
According to the company, it will help shoot video content and then style it into fun music and video cut-ups by adding layer sounds, visual effects, patterns and beats. The app is available via Playstore and it’s for Google Pixel 5 and higher.
Other features from the Google Pixel June 2022 feature drop are the conversation mode on Sound Amplifier, which helps separate sounds and then amplify the needed voice while filtering out the background noises and voices; the ability to save vaccine cards on Google Pay, new curated culture wallpapers from Yann Bastard, car detection feature and translation enhancements. That’s a whole lot from the Big G.
