The Google Pixel watch has been getting a lot of tweaks recently following its announcement at the just-concluded I/O. The already surfaced features are pretty amazing to match its sleek hardware. In addition to the already revealed details, the Google Pixel Watch battery life is to last for a whopping 24 hours on a single charge. This is certainly a very impressive feat.
Previous reports have revealed that the Google Pixel watch’s battery life is 300 mAh and is said to last for a day as estimated by Google, this might, however, change after its official launch. While the conditions of the watch in which it was tested were not unveiled, we don’t know if the always-on display or the sleep tracking feat was left enabled as these are major functions that will certainly have a big effect on battery life.
The Google Pixel Watch battery life is quite impressive for Wear OS but Samsung promised more on its Watch 4. Samsung claims 40 hours on its Watch 4 but the 40mm variant lasted about a day, however, the 44mm variant lasted around 40 hours consistently. The Apple watch touts 18 hours but most users say it has better endurance.
That said, the Pixel Watch doesn’t have fast charging using its USB-C cable, it charges 100 percent in more than 110 minutes, different from Apple Series 7 which charges 0-80% in 45 minutes. The Pixel Watch charging speed is kind of disappointing but we hope its 24 hours battery life remains or even more.
Other details apart from the Google Pixel Watch Battery life
Not just the Google Pixel watch battery life, we’ve gotten details of the watch codename, three model variants of the wearable have been listed by the Bluetooth SIG, and physical features and dimensions of the smartwatch have also been unveiled.
