Google has been reviewing and announcing a few sleek devices ranging from the Google Pixel Watch to the Pixel Buds Pro to the budget Pixel 6a to even the soon to debut Pixel 7 series. The Google Pixel Fold is still in the air and the first Google Tablet appears on the USI certification website, it is said to have stylus support.
The Big G has presented the Google Tablet with Pixel branding and apart from that, gotten the codename to be Tangor. Since Google Tablet appears on the USI certification website, this move has given tech enthusiasts more information as to what to expect from the device.
The Universal Stylus Initiative(USI) has confirmed the tablet has stylus support, this, however, wasn’t confirmed in the Google I/O which took place in May. As Google Tablet appears on the USI certification website, this isn’t strange as the support is available on the ChromeOS. The new tablet getting a USI certification means it will support USI styluses.
This move will enable multiple styluses to write on the Google Tablet simultaneously. In addition, each stylus can save your most recently selected settings within a given app. Since this move has been made on the soon to debut Pixel tablet, there’s a high probability that it’s coming to other Androids as well.
We’re still unsure as to when to expect the Google pixel tablet. However, we might get to see its launch next year in May or October which is usually scheduled for the hardware events. The Pixel Tablet might be more like a budget mid-range device, having a single rear camera setup, similar chassis to Pixel 5 alongside thick bezels. The device might debut with the sleek Pixel 7 series next year.
Google Tablet appears on the USI certification website, another device also has a certification
While the soon to debut Google Tablet appears on the USI certification website, we’ve also had the Pixel Watch having a Bluetooth SIG certification. The wearable comes in three model variants and looks appealing to the eye in terms of hardware.
