Most probably, Xiaomi will be getting a significant increase in Q1 2023 market share given the number of devices set to debut before the end of the year(and possibly early next year). We’ve got the POCO X5 Pro, the budget Redmi 11A, the Xiaomi 13 series and now the Redmi K60, all of which is going to debut soon.
What we’ve got of Redmi K60
Well, while we await the official release, leaks of the Redmi K60 have surfaced and have revealed a few features to expect from this smartphone. Amidst the leaks surfacing online, we’ve got certification documents flying around. The latest we’ve got of certification is from Chinese 3C and this certification says the Xiaomi Redmi K60 will support a whopping 67W fast charging.
Previous rumours suggested that this smartphone will also be getting 30W wireless charging support and will be housing a 5500 mAh battery.
Meanwhile, there seems to be no improvement in the charging section of the Redmi K60 as this is what is seen on the Redmi K50. On the chipset powering this smartphone, it might be a high-end Mediatek chipset but whichever the brand goes with, we’re in for a whole lot.
The display should be featuring a 120Hz screen refresh rate, the software should be the MIUI 14 (which is free from ads, and bloatware and of course, comes with a lot of UI enhancements and tweaks) and possibly there should be an upgrade on the camera compared to K50. Nevertheless, let all these leaks be taken with a pinch of salt as they are subject to change. Meanwhile, once some leaks surface of the Xiaomi Redmi K60, we’ll keep you posted.
