An official Pixel 7a teaser landed some hours ago and it revealed the launch date – but not just that. Sources have gotten their hands on the complete Google Pixel 7a specs. Let’s take a look.
Details of the complete Google Pixel 7a specs
The Pixel 7a will be the first in the “a” series to have a high-resolution main camera (64MP), a high-refresh-rate rare display (90Hz), and wireless charging (18W). It’s a significant improvement over the 6a from a year ago. And it is extremely close to the specifications of the Pixel 7 flagship, which is still less than a year old. The Tensor G2 chipset is included.
The Pixel 7 began at $600 last year, and it now nearly always comes with a discount. The Pixel 7a is projected to cost $500, which is $50 higher than the Pixel 6a. Given the significant upgrades on the new model, this is not surprising.
The 6.1″ display is slightly smaller than the 6.3″ panel of the Pixel 7, yet both are FHD+ 90Hz AMOLED panels. A high-resolution primary camera for better Super Res Zoom is also available (rumor has it that it will be a 1/1.37″ Sony IMX787 with 64 MP resolution), as is wireless charging, thus the difference between the 7 and 7a will be rather narrow.
The complete Google Pixel 7a specs(courtesy of our regular tipster, Roland Quandt) looks quite authentic. However, we should get ready to sit back(with our popcorn) and witness the unveiling of the Google Pixel 7a at the Google I/O conference scheduled to hold on May 10.
