Just as we expected after Redmi confirmed November 26 as the official launch of the New Redmi Note 9 series, live images and prices have started surfacing. Earlier, we reported about the supposed pricing of the Redmi Note 9 4G, and now, the live images of the Redmi Note 9 5G have also been leaked.
Going by the images posted on Facebook via Xiaomi leaks pH and on Twitter, it shows the front panel of the upcoming Redmi Note 9 5G and also the rear panel, which focuses on the camera area. As seen in the images, the device will feature a dual-tone design and a triple camera arrangement. The camera sensor is going to sit on a circular plate, which also houses the LED-flash. We couldn’t see a sign of a fingerprint scanner, and hence, the device will support a side-mounted scanner.
Around the front panel is the supposed 6.53-inch IPS display, surrounded by a thin bezel. It features a centered punch hole for the rumored 13MP selfie camera sensor, while the rear camera is going to sport a primary 48MP shooter. We could also see the volume rocker on the right frame, and we expect the power button that side as well.
As for other features of the Redmi Note 9 5G, it’s going to run Mediatek Dimensity 800U SoC with multiple memory configurations. Power will be delivered by a 5000mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging support, and outside-of-the-box, the device will run MIUI 12 based on Android 10.

Unfortunately, nothing has been said about the price, but we expect an affordable price tag as usual. However, since the official launch is only a few days from today, we’ll soon get to know the official price and the full specifications of the device.
