This phone number is what is used by the hackers because it is a number used by all carriers in the world, users will not suspect the scam and are more likely to dial the number.
When the hackers have made their way to your WhatsApp account, of course, they have access to your contacts before you realize you’ve been hacked and they can extort you for money in exchange for your personal information.
