Widgets allow you to verify crucial information from specific apps at a glance on your iPhone. iPhone widgets in iOS 14 have moved beyond Today View and can now be installed right on your Home screen and Smart Stacks. Meanwhile, Widgets can be added straight to the Home screen. So, if you intend on knowing how to add a widget to Apple’s iPhone home screen, this guide has done justice to that. Here is How to Add a Widget to Apple’s iPhone Home Screen

The following steps will show you how to add a widget to Apple’s iPhone home screen.

1. Tap and hold an empty section of the Home screen until the icons wiggle.

2. In the top left corner of your phone screen, tap the plus sign. A menu will appear, displaying all of the widgets that can be added. A + symbol usually appears in the upper-right corner of an iOS 14 iPhone Home screen in edit mode, with a box around it. To bring up the + symbol at the top-left of your Home screen, press and hold an app and then tap “Edit Home Screen.”

3. Select the widget you would like to add.

4. Swipe left or right to choose the widget size you want.

5. Select Add Widget from the drop-down menu. Most widgets come in a variety of sizes.

6. Tap on the Done button and you are done.

Note: On iOS, widgets are pre-installed on the left side of the Home screen. To get to them, swipe left from the Home screen. To put it on your Home screen, tap and hold until they wiggle, then move it to the right.
