Did you know that your smartphone’s battery will almost certainly have issues at some point in the future? Batteries decline in performance over time since they are consumable. They won’t have as much battery capacity after a few years as they did when they were new. Knowing this, you will probably want to extend the life of your phone battery as much as possible. In this guide, we will take a look at how to check Android battery health to keep your device running smoothly for as long as possible. So, without much further ado, let’s get started.

  • How to Check Android Battery Health

How to Check Android Battery Health

1. Check from your Phone Settings Menu

  • Select “Battery” from your phone’s Settings app. This option should be evident from the top tier menu, but you may also look for it by scrolling up the page and looking for the search bar.
  • If the information you’re looking for isn’t immediately evident once you’re in the Battery area, check for an option like “Battery usage.”
  • Here you can examine the state of your battery for the last 24 hours, as well as which apps have been using the most power.
  • Tap one of the apps in this menu to force an app to close or to disable it completely. After that, you’ll be able to disable or choose an optimization setting.

2. Check using a code

  • In the Phone app on your phone, open the dial pad. Dial the code *#*#4636#*#*
  • A new menu will appear after that. To check the state of your battery, select Battery Information. If it does not display, then you will be unable to use this method. If it does, selecting it will display data like charging level, health, and temperature of the battery.

3. Check through an Application

The AccuBattery app for Android can check Android battery health and performance of the battery over time. It’s a really precise and easy-to-use program. It may be downloaded via the Google Play App Store on Android phones. AccuBattery shows you your phone’s current battery capacity and, as a result, how much it has worn out over time. Follow the steps below to use AccuBattery to check the health of your Android phone’s battery:

  • Start the application.
  • Go to the “Health” section of the menu.
  • After a few charging sessions, the app will provide the data on your current battery capacity. Meanwhile, when more charging sessions are recorded, the data will become more accurate.
