The Xiaomi ‘Modena’, also known as the Xiaomi MS11, has been sighted once more, less than two weeks after prototypes of the company’s first electric vehicle were discovered in Inner Mongolia. Car News China claims to have received photographs of the identical vehicle without any camouflage. The photographs were grabbed from a display for some reason. As a result, the photographs have poor quality and are slightly blurry.
Even though the photographs of the Xiaomi MS11 look blurry and lack quality as well, they match the real-life photos of the prototypes. According to sources, Modena will be taking up the name MS11 as its EV marketing name.
Features of the Xiaomi MS11
The Xiaomi Modena, Xiaomi MS11, has few similarities with the Ferrari 360 Modena. The EV instead resembles a Tesla Model 3 or a Hyundai Ioniq 6 with a sedan trunk.
The Xiaomi Modena also features pop-out door handles, a full glass roof, and what appears to be a sensor array above the windshield. Although no interior shots have been released, one image suggests that there is no obvious digital dash. The Xiaomi Modena appears to have three rear seats as well. Xiaomi’s first electric vehicle is not expected to arrive until at least Q1 2024 but we have other pieces of tech to be marvelled by from Xiaomi.
Xiaomi released the flagship Xiaomi 13 which takes up a lot of interesting features but that’s not all, there’s the Redmi 12 series as well but with a version still expected. Oh well, Xiaomi is on the right track to take up a sizeable amount of the market share this year.
