Google has released the June 2023 security patch update to eligible Pixel phones. The update is currently seeding in batches, meaning it will take time to arrive on your device. Meanwhile, if you’re a beta tester, you will have to opt-out to receive the latest patch, which also brings the Android 13 QPR3 Feature Drop.
The June 2023 security patch update for Pixel phones was expected last week, but that didn’t happen. And while Google didn’t give any reason for the delay, the update, which comes as Android 13 QPR3 June Feature Drop, is now rolling out. It’s rolling Over-the-air, hence, might not be available on your device until later.
Meanwhile, the update is seeding with a build number TQ3A.230605.0XX. It is available for Google Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel 7a, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 6, Pixel 6a, Pixel 5, Pixel 5a, Pixel 4a 5G. To receive the update if you’re on QPR3 Beta 3.2, you have to opt out, and luckily, you won’t lose your data.
