As we wait for the June Feature Drop, Google has released the June 2024 Play system update. The update brings new features, optimization, and bug fixes to Android-supported devices via Play Services, Play Store, and Play system updates. As expected, the latest version is now available, but it doesn’t seem eligible devices are getting the update yet.
The June 2024 Google Play system update is arriving with a few new features, though some may be exclusive to developers and might never make it to everyone. Nevertheless, we recommend installing the update when prompted to improve your device performance and introduce new features.
Those using Pixel Android phones can install the latest Play system update via Settings>>Security & privacy>>System & updates>>Google Play services. We checked on our Pixel 6 Pro, but the update is yet to arrive, perhaps with the June Feature Drop.
