It has been a few days since Xiaomi started rolling out the stable Android 15-based HyperOS 2 update. So far, a substantial number of phones have gotten the update, which has seen a rise in the bug reports. Of course, that’s not surprising as updates like this mostly come with few problems, but there are fairly few, which is commendable. While the company is working on resolving these issues, they believe you should know about them.

Latest Android 15-based HyperOS 2 bug

Unfortunately, we don’t know when the latest Android 15-based HyperOS 2 bugs will be fixed, but we hope soon since the company acknowledged them. It seems only flagship phones and Tablets are affected. Perhaps only owners of these devices are reporting the issues they are facing. Of course, you can report yours using this link or check below for the bugs and how to resolve them.

Latest Android 15-based HyperOS 2 bug

Xiaomi has listed all the bugs affecting their device users in the HyperOS 2 weekly bug report. Xiaomi 14, Xiaomi 14 Ultra, and Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4 have had different issues since upgrading to Android 15 with a stable HyperOS 2.

Google Search is not working on Xiaomi 14

Xiaomi 14 was the first device to receive the Android 15-based HyperOS 2 update. The rollout has since been suspended due to some issues. We understand device users can not use “Google Circle to Search.” Meanwhile, only the Global build has the bug, and your European build might work fine after installing the upgrade.

According to the company, a fix will arrive with the next update. Hopefully, that will resolve any problem you might have after upgrading to the new Android OS.

Developer options crash when scrolling down on Xiaomi 14 Ultra.

The first device to receive Android 15 and HyperOS 2 updates in India is the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. Shortly after the release, users start reporting an issue with the developer option. Many people are finding it difficult to use the option as it crashes scrolling down. Only Indian users are affected, or maybe they are the only region reporting the problem.

Unfortunately, Xiaomi has yet to resolve the bug, but hopefully, they will in the next update.

App icons are displaying incorrectly, and Video playing is stuck in YouTube on Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4

Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4 is the first and only Tablet from the Chinese company to get the latest Android OS. The device is already running the upgrade in multiple regions, but the global users seem to have had difficulties since installing it.

App icons are displaying incorrectly, and Video playing is stuck on YouTube. Xiaomi is analyzing both problems and will probably release a new fix in the coming days. Meanwhile, only those running OS2.0.6.0. VMXMIXM is having these problems.

We understand many people have different issues since upgrading to Android 15. If what you’re experiencing isn’t listed here, you can help alert Xiaomi to it. Follow this link and learn how you can file bug reports using your Xiaomi phone.
