Xiaomi is still rolling out HyperOS to eligible phones for the first time. As a major upgrade, that brings a new Android OS, there are bound to be bugs. The company has taken time to report these issues while providing solutions on how to fix them. According to the latest weekly bug report, issues with launchers and photos have been acknowledged.
Every week, Xiaomi releases a bug report highlighting all the issues being experienced by Xiaomi phone users. From the current release, we understand some users are having problems with the uninstall button translation when uninstalling an application.
The issue seems exclusive to POCO F4, which recently received the HyperOS-based Android 14 update. It is the global (Indonesia) users reporting the issue, and luckily, it has been acknowledged. Those running OS1.0.1.0.ULMIDXM should expect a fix in the coming days. It’s a self-upgrade being prepared by Xiaomi, and hence it will not take time for the bug to be resolved.
The issue of photos appearing black after taking them is an issue with Xiaomi 14 Ultra. Meanwhile, only those running OS1.0.5.0.UNAMIXM and OS1.0.4.0.UNATWXM is having these problems. However, the company has acknowledged it and will address it in a future update. We recommend checking your updater app for a new update if you are using any of the affected devices.
